Public Showers in Port Stephens

After a day spent swimming in Port Stephen’s pristine bays and wandering around Tomaree National Park, you’ll no doubt want to turn your attention to the nearest public shower.

For a refreshing rinse under cold water head to Roy Wood reserve in Salamander Bay, Fly Point in Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay Beach, or the public bathrooms at Anna Bay. Further out at Beresfield BP truckstop you can ask for a key and take a hot shower for just $5 – or $2.50 a person if you don’t mind sharing. Go as far as Newcastle and you can also score a hot shower at the Bar Beach public toilets or the Newcastle Ocean Baths.

We could go on and on, but you’re better off just downloading the CamperMate app and having the maps handy on your phone – just  like the Port Stephens map below, but better!
